Established in the year 1953, we @KAYBEE are blessed to have inherited a rich legacy of being a peerless institution that is still continuing to serve humanity through “our work which directly enables imparting Wholistic Education with a Learning-centered Pedagogical Approach.

”Our journey commenced here: Dr. Maria Montessori - a creative genius, a blend of the mystic and the pragmatic, initiated the mission of helping the universal child with a comprehensive and scientific method of education thus bringing Aboard in a very subtle way– “the formation of man!”.

Dr. Maria Montessori,along with her son, Mario Montessori arrived in India just before the outbreak of World War II. She conducted several Montessori Training Courses (Primary and Elementary) first at Madras and subsequently and at Coimbatore, Karachi in Pakistan, Pune in Maharashtra and Ahmedabad in Gujarat. She also conducted an Advanced Training Course in Kodaikanal, India.

After the War, Dr. Maria Montessori returned to Europe, leaving in India as her Personal Representative - Mr. A.M Joosten, as Director, AMI Training Courses and as Representative of the Association Montessori Internationalè, The Netherlands.

Incidentally, Kira Banasinska, the Founder of Kaybee, and her husband Dr.Eugene Banasinski ( the First Polish Consul General to India ) who eventually embraced India as their final home, started manufacturing toys in the year 1950! Later on, with the growing need of Montessori materials, Kira, officially started the production of Montessori Equipment in the year 1953 under the guidance and License of the AMI, which has been mutually enjoyed spanning decades.

The year 2003 marked 50 GOLDEN years and 2013 the DIAMOND Jubilee of KAYBEE School Equiptment Manufacturing Company in its dedicated service of producing Premium quality Montessori Apparatus/Materials and other Educational Aids! As Divine Providence has it, this year 2019 marks our SAPPHIRE Jubilee!(65years).

For its conscientious efforts and loyalty, Kaybee has won National and International Awards, fame and recognition! In the face of challenges, Kaybee has always remained committed to the cause of aiding the ‘Universal Child’ not only by its production of a vast range of Montessori Materials/Apparatus and Pre-Primary/Kindergarten Teaching Aids both for the normal children and for the blind, physically handicapped and the mentally challenged persons but also by its ardent efforts in rehabilitating the mentally challenged and the differently abled, who are referred to us by the National Institute Of Mentally Handicapped.
